Rosalia Vila known as Rosalia is an Spanish Flamenco/Pop artist. As a teenager she sang both in traditional and popular music. However, her music interests have widened to include soul, hip-hop and hip-hop. Her voice is said by no less an artist than the flamenco guitarist Pepe Habichuela as sweet and sharp, but with a bite like the old ones. El Mal Querer was her major commercial and critical breakthrough in 2018. Following the release of Los Angeles garnered her attention as well as a Latin Grammy Nomination for Best New Artist It also topped Billboard's Latin Pop Albums and she was awarded the Grammy. La Fama, featuring The Weeknd is due out in 2021. Motomami the third album by her was a collaboration with songwriting partners Cory Henry and James Blake. It was released in 2022, as a result of an appearance on Saturday Night Live appearance by Rosalia, the vocalist of Chicken Teriyaki. Rosalia was the first Spanish singer to sing as a solo performer on the show. Motomami was the only woman in the history of music to be a winner of the Latin Album of the Year twice, as well as three Latin Grammy Awards.
