She performs alongside Matthew Daddario on Shadowhunters: The Mortal Instruments. Shadowhunters: The Mortal Instruments. Wainwright began her YouTube career with a sketch on the web in 2012. Wainwright has since guest appeared on a variety of television and film productions such as Criminal Minds and Lethal Weapon. The news was released in September the year 2016 that she was portraying the werewolf Maia Roberts, based on The Mortal Instruments series of books written by Cassandra Clare.
